The New Adalbertinum was built in the years 1673 - 1703 by the Jesuite Order. Its premises, along with the Church of Assumption of the Virgin, were designed for the education and training of children and young people (Colegium Societatis lesu). The history of the monastery was shaped by prominent personalities such as the priest Bohuslav Balbín.
The impressive baroque building is coming back to life after more than two hundred years spent in oblivion. The premises of the New Adalbertinum combine history and presence in a harmonic whole.
The reconstruction design of the building strictly followed and retained the original architectural features, yet it contemporary incorporated technical necessities such as an elevator, modern bathrooms, and high-quality lighting.

The New Adalbertinum boarding house accommodates up to 60 people in double rooms each of them being equipped with a shower and toilette, satellite TV, and a telephone.
The New Adalbertinum premises can be leased for the organization of congresses, educational events, and seminars, as well as concerts, theater performances, and art exhibitions. These representative premises are also ideal for social meetings, balls, company parties, professional and commercial presentations, or family celebrations. The New Adalbertinum offers halls and lounges with a seating capacity of 40, 100, and 200 people.
